Free Family Day at The Westmoreland Set for Saturday, March 24

GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania (March 6, 2018) – The Westmoreland Museum of American Art will host a free Family Day with activities and entertainment for visitors of all ages on Saturday, March 24 from 11am-3pm. This event is supported by Michael J. and Aimee Rusinko Kakos.
During Family Day, visitors will have the opportunity to explore artist Isaac Bower’s “cojiform” sculpture and enjoy special performances by Stage Right! and the Hempfield Area High School Jazz Band conducted by Brian Tychinski. Visitors will also be able to participate in a scavenger hunt and art projects throughout the Museum.
“Family Day is a great opportunity for people of all ages to come together and enjoy a fun-filled day of art and activities throughout the Museum,” Director of Education and Visitor Engagement Joan McGarry said.
Family Day at The Westmoreland is held biannually, occurring once in the spring and again in the fall.
