The Smile That Changed the World (is yours)

  • Time: 11:00am–5:00pm

Join author and artist, John Schlimm, as he installs his latest Smile painting on the North Main Street bridge that connects downtown Greensburg with The Westmoreland (weather permitting). Residents and Museum visitors will be invited to paint their own personal smile onto the canvas. Should it rain, the art project will move inside to the Museum’s art studio. The finished canvas will then be on view from June 7 to July 3 in the Robertshaw Gallery as a special exhibition that relates to the Museum’s portrait collection. Colonel Eagelburger’s Highstepping Goodtime Band will be performing throughout the Museum this day from 11am – 3pm.
