Tell Us Your Immigration Story

Opening Reception: Friday, February 9 from 5–7pm.

This interactive exhibition, organized in conjunction with Emigration–Immigration–Migration, will grow over time, highlighting YOUR stories through writing, audio and photographs. In addition, we will feature Immigration Journeys: Old and New, a series of videos sponsored by the Allegheny County Library Association and produced at the Whitehall Public Library, in which long-term residents and newly arrived refugees and immigrants tell their stories.

Share your or your family’s immigration story with us using tellusyourstory@thewestmoreland.org to send a written narrative and/or photographs (please include descriptive captions) and to inquire about signing up to record a brief oral history.

This exhibition will be held in the Museum’s first floor Robertshaw Gallery and is made possible by the generous support of The Fine Foundation.
