Virtual Children’s Saturday Studio: City Street Diorama Assemblage

From October to May, Children’s Saturday Studio classes are now offered virtually TWICE a month for children ages 7–10 and are taught by a professional art instructor.

  • Time: 9:30–11:30am

Create a 3D relief style painting of a city or village street. Using cardboard to create 3D buildings, corrugation for textures, and other found objects – you will build your own scene! Specific studio materials will be provided via an art kit, but you will also need acrylic paints and brushes, hot glue gun and glue sticks.

Self Pick Up of Kit & Saturday Studio Cost:
$10 member
$15 non-member

Mailed Kit & Saturday Studio Cost ($8 Shipping Fee):
$18 member
$23 non-member

Art kits can be picked up at the Museum or we can mail the art kit to the address you provide during registration. Art kits will be mailed the week before the Pop-Up Studio and be available for pick up at the Museum after February 13, during the Museum’s regular hours of operation, Wednesday – Sunday, 10am-5pm.

Advanced registration is required. The registration deadline is two weeks in advance of the Saturday Studio to allow our Education staff time to purchase materials, assemble art kits, and distribute the kits.

Registration Deadline: February 6
