Jazz Concert Series: The Tom Wendt Quartet

Cost: $15 member / $18 non-member

Advance registration is required.

6pm Cocktail Hour, 7-9pm Concert

Jazz Nights return this fall each month on select Wednesdays! Join us at 6pm for a NEW special cocktail hour before the concert. Get a drink from our cash bar, grab a crafted concert snack, and mingle with friends before the show. All concerts run from 7-9pm. Bar open through intermission.

On Wednesday November 9, Thomas Wendt will present a group of talented young musicians from the Pittsburgh area including saxophonist Joseph Seman, pianist Antonio Croes and bassist Chris McGraw. The group will draw from the Jazz canon playing selections by composers such as Benny Golson, Cedar Walton, Charlie Parker and Duke Ellington, as well as music from the Great American Songbook composers Jerome Kern, Cole Porter and Johnny Mercer among others. The quartet blends several different influences offering a musical experience that has one foot in the past, one in the present with a look toward the future.
