American Workman Kane

Maxwell King and Louise Lippincott authors of American Workman: The Life and Art of John Kane come to The Westmoreland for a special presentation about their book. Kane, a featured artist in Gatecrashers: The Rise of the Self-Taught Artist in America, was a Scottish immigrant and “gatecrashing” artist who resided in Pittsburgh at the turn of the 20th century. The afternoon includes a book signing and a wine reception with light hors d’oeuvres. Program presented by The Committee for the Westmoreland.
