Join us for a day of art and community in collaboration with the Westmoreland Cultural Trust and Seton Hill University. The Museum will showcase artwork by talented local middle and high school students, with opportunities to meet the artists and learn more about their work.
Throughout the day, guests can enjoy a variety of offerings from local food trucks, experience an ekphrastic poetry reading by Greensburg Salem Middle School students inspired by the Museum’s collection, enjoy live music performances, and take part in a collaborative community art project. Visitors can also take home a free balloon creation.

- America 250 – Igniting Inspiration: High School and Middle School Art Expo
- Explore a variety of food options from local food trucks
- Pick up a free balloon creation from balloon artist Kim Sauers
- Contribute to Your American Story: a collaborative community art project
Scheduled Highlights
- 11am– 12: Enjoy live performances by talented students from C.P. Music Instruction, showcasing a variety of musical styles and skill levels.
- 12–1pm: Meet the artists of America 250 – Igniting Inspiration and learn more about the ideas behind their work.
- 1–2pm: “Lines from the Collection” – An ekphrastic poetry reading by Greensburg Salem Middle School students, inspired by works from the Museum’s collection.
