Each summer, the Museum hosts week-long Summer Art Camps for children and teens ages 7-17.
Families
Look, learn, and laugh together as you and your family experience American art together with engaging hands-on events.
Community Days
Join us for free, family-friendly fun during our Sunday Fun Days and other community events. Take part in art making activities, plus enjoy performances and delicious offerings from local food trucks at select events.
Children’s Art Classes
Offered September – May, the Museum’s studio art classes, for children ages 7-10, are designed to ignite creative experimentation while teaching fundamental art techniques.
In-Gallery Activities
Interact with artworks in a new way with fun in-gallery activities! You will find plenty of opportunities throughout the Museum to build, engineer, create, draw, and/or compose using the works around you as inspiration.

When you are not able to make it to the Museum, here are some fun art activities to experience at home.
