Jazz Trip

December Jazz Concert featuring Joshua Ben

Jazz Trip was founded in 2011 by Joshua Ben (piano) and Zachary Bodolosky (drums). Josh is a music educator and studied Jazz at DUQ and later at the University of Pittsburgh. Zach comes from a lineage of respected Jazz drummers his father being head of the music department at UPJ. Mark Perna rounding out the trio with his upright bass. Mark was awarded recognition for his contributions to Jazz in the 40th Annual Jazz Station Awards (in acoustic bass). The bands mission is to bring new appreciation to both young an old audiences to the art of improvisation and to carry the torch to the next generation of Jazz Musicians. Joining the trio for the evening is two time state winner Fiddlin Ray Bruckman.

*Special Addition! For November and December Jazz, Frank Lloyd Wright’s Southwestern Pennsylvania will remain open through cocktail hour.

All concerts run from 7–9pm with a special cocktail hour before the concert at 6pm.
