Reflections in Glass: Free Day (Sun, Oct. 18)

10am-5pm

Don’t miss the final day to explore Reflections in Glass and vote for your favorite piece for the People’s Choice Award*. Experience live glassblowing demos from Pittsburgh Glass Center’s Hot Wheels Mobile Studio (weather permitting). Enjoy cupcakes from Your Sweet Cake Design Studio and stop by the photo booth to snap a selfie or group photo. Plus, design a colorful mini glass mosaic to create a unique take-home artwork. *People’s Choice Award voting ends at 3pm, with the winner announced at 4pm.

Reflections in Glass | 2nd Floor Galleries 
Explore Reflections in Glass, presented in partnership with Pittsburgh Glass Center, featuring original glass works by 15 artists. Vote for your favorite to help select the People’s Choice Award! Please note voting ends at 3pm.

Photo Opp | Atrium (1st Floor) | 10am – 3pm 
It’s your time to shine! Gather your group, strike a pose, and enjoy an interactive digital photo station with fun props.
 
Pop-Up Vendor | Michael J. and Aimee Rusinko Kakos Lobby (1st Floor) | 10am–3pm
Satisfy your sweet tooth with delicious cupcakes from Your Sweet Cake Design Studio.
 
Hot Wheels Mobile Studio | Outdoor ( North Parking Lot) | 10am–4pm
Get an up-close look at the art of glassblowing with this traveling glass studio. Watch glass artists transform molten glass into fiery works of art using state-of-the-art equipment that allows demonstrations to take place almost anywhere. (Weather permitting.)
 
Free Mini Mosaics | Paul and Carol Evanson Community Room (1st floor) | 11am-3pm
Learn the basics of mosaic art and create your own small glass artwork! No registration required. All ages are welcome. Available while supplies last.
