GREENSBURG, PA – The Westmoreland Museum of American Art will hold Art on Tap at its temporary location, Westmoreland @rt 30, on Friday, July 10, 2015 from 5 – 7 p.m. before closing Westmoreland @rt 30, on Monday, July 13, 2015 as the staff prepares to move back to the newly renovated and expanded museum at 221 North Main Street in Greensburg. Westmoreland @rt 30 will be open to the public until Sunday, July 12, 2015 and feature a moving sale in the Museum Shop. The New Westmoreland will reopen during the weekend of The Skys the Limit Grand Reopening Celebration, October 24 & 25, 2015 at 221 North Main Street in Greensburg.
The Art on Tap event in July will include music from Briar Rose, a scavenger hunt, giveaways every half hour courtesy of The Greensburg Breakfast Club, a basket raffle by The Committee for The Westmoreland, Westmoreland @rt 30 trivia, light bites from Delectable Delights and drinks including beer from All Saints Brewing Company. The event is sponsored by The Greensburg Breakfast Club. Tickets are $7 per person. Guests are encouraged to mark their calendars for the first Art on Tap at The New Westmoreland on Friday, November 13, 2015.
An American Marketplace, the Shop at Westmoreland @rt 30 is featuring a moving sale now through Sunday, July 12, 2015. The sale includes 30% – 40% off all jewelry; select art books for $5; select stationary for 99 cents; and art kits, pottery, wood, purses, candles and more are up to 40% off (some exceptions apply). Products are American made with work by many regional artists and craftsmen. Proceeds from the sale will benefit programs at The Westmoreland.

Located at 4764 State Route 30, between Greensburg and Latrobe, Westmoreland @rt 30 features works from the permanent collection, monthly Pop-Up Exhibitions, Studio Workshops, hands-on art activities for children on Saturdays and Sundays, Art on Tap “happy hour” events on the second Friday of every month and more.
