The Westmoreland’s Café Marchand to Reopen May 5

The Museum’s café will reopen with grab-and-go service and limited menu

GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania (April 28, 2021) – The Westmoreland Museum of American Art is excited to announce that its Café Marchand will reopen next Wednesday, May 5, after being closed for more than a year due to the pandemic. Café Marchand will feature grab-and-go service and offer a limited beverage and snack menu, which will include: four signature café drinks, a selection of delicious pastries from Sun Dawg Café, Red Ribbon Sodas, beer and wine options, biscotti, and additional individually packaged sweet and savory snacks.

Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, food and beverages cannot be consumed inside the Museum at this time, but visitors can enjoy their food and beverages outdoors, when weather permits, in the Jack & Anne Robertshaw Family Gardens or on the newly covered Swank Terrace.

The Westmoreland is also featuring Yumzio Bistro, a restaurant located in downtown Greensburg with breakfast, lunch, and dinner selections, including vegetarian and vegan options, to provide more robust meal offerings. Yumzio Bistro’s menu and online ordering will be easily accessible through a QR code found on signage at the Terrace patio tables, and visitors can scan the code with their smartphone, order from Yumzio Bistro, and choose delivery using the Museum’s address, 221 N. Main Street, Greensburg, to have their food delivered directly to them on the Terrace. Visitors are also welcome to use a delivery service of their choice to order from a nearby restaurant.

Before or after exploring the galleries, we hope our visitors relax and unwind in the Gardens or on the Terrace where they can eat a meal al fresco with a spectacular view of downtown Greensburg,” said Randall Oaks, Director of Visitor Experiences & Events at The Westmoreland.

Café Marchand will be open during The Westmoreland’s hours of operation, Wednesday through Sunday, 10am – 5pm, and advance registration will be required for admission to the Museum.
