In partnership with oneBurgh, The Westmoreland invites you to share your sports memorabilia at a community event at the Museum on August 16.

Sports Memorabilia Showcase
We want to see your sports memorabilia! Extra points for anything Pittsburgh or Yinzer related, but all sports and teams are welcome. Have a signed ball or puck? A stash of old football programs? Binders of vintage baseball cards? A lock of Troy Polamalu’s hair? Apply by July 20 to be considered to share them at a free sports memorabilia community showcase at The Westmoreland on August 16, 2026!

About Sunday Fun Day: Art in Play
Sunday, August 16, 2026 (10am–3pm)
At this sports-themed event, the Museum comes alive with creativity and play! Visitors can see 60+ hand-illustrated baseballs in Play Ball!, The Art of George Sosnak, including many dedicated to the Pittsburgh Pirates. Sosnak was a Pittsburgh native, minor league umpire, and self-taught artist. Next, play a round of art inspired mini golf in Putt-a-palooza. Enjoy live performances, a mascot meet-and-greet, and a special community sports memorabilia showcase. Perfect for all ages, this event invites families, sports fans, and art lovers to play, explore, and experience the creative side of sports! Admission is free.
